I can't say enough positive things about Bats and its wonderful host Lee! Storm Amy threatened to put a damper on our weekend but Lee was in communication with us all the way through our journey and escorted us through the last bit of our journey where the roads had flooded. He was even thoughtful enough to arrange alternative accommodation in case we weren't able to make it to the cabin (lucky we didnt need this in the end!) The cabin is so cozy, and set in the most beautiful location with a view of the shoreline in the distance. it was warm and you have everything you need there. the hot tub is definitely a highlight! There are lots of lovely walks in the vicinity and many towns around the lakes that you can get to with a car. Thanks so much to Lee - I highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

We had a really relaxing time at Bats About. Lee was a very helpful host, sending us detailed instructions and preparing the hot tub ready for our arrival. The cabin itself was surprisingly well equipped and very cosy once the fire got going. And yes we saw loads of bats.
