Guests appreciate the warm atmosphere and the convenience of good parking. The cottage's maintenance and cleanliness are generally well-regarded, though minor issues with a toilet seat and dust were noted. The property's thoughtful touches, such as artwork and a welcome box, contribute to its charm.

The property is generally described as clean and well-maintained. However, one review mentioned dust on surfaces in the main bedroom, suggesting room for improvement in this area.

The location is highly praised for being close to shops, the town centre, and offering easy access to local attractions and walks. The convenience of a nearby supermarket and bus services is also appreciated.

The cottage is considered comfortable, with cosy beds and a warm atmosphere. Some guests mentioned issues with a small main bed and a hard mattress, as well as a problematic en-suite door, which slightly affected the comfort level.

Facilities are generally good, with a well-equipped kitchen and convenient parking. However, there were several mentions of maintenance issues such as a loose toilet seat, a broken shower head, and disruptive building work during a stay, indicating that facilities maintenance could be better.

Wise cottage itself is totally fine. Well equipped with pretty much all you could need. I don’t cook when I’m on holiday so none of the kitchen equipment was used. We have visited Keswick each year for the last 10 years (apart from the COVID years!). The property is close to the centre so it’s very handy for that. Unfortunately it wasn’t the relaxing, peaceful break we would have liked due to one of the properties upstairs having a new bathroom and kitchen fitted. So there was no chance of a lie in or a relaxing afternoon inside (which we could have done with as the rain was relentless). The building work lasted from Monday to Thursday. We were advised of the building work whilst driving to the property on the morning of our arrival. A bit more notice would’ve been nice so we could have decided if we still wanted to go or cancel. We were also advised that the shower head in the en-suite was broken and the owner was expecting a new part to be delivered but we heard nothing more about this throughout our stay. Thankfully there are 2 bathrooms at the property. I’m sure when there isn’t constant banging and drilling going on upstairs, it’s a perfectly nice place to stay. It could have just been handled a bit better.

As always, a very plesant stay in an excellent apartment which is very conveniently situated and well equipped. The apartment was spotlessly clean when we arrived and despite the mixed November weather we had an enjoyable time, thank you. I'm sure we will be back.
