Great cottage in a great location just outside Keswick. There was some road noise but I did not find it intrusive. Views from deck were great and got the sun most of the day. Inside the lodge we felt could have been cleaner. The plates, cutlery etc were all spotless, however the bathrooms, had thick dust on the towel rails, and plug hole had a lot of hair in it, kitchen cupboards inside were dirty and under the dish drainer was sticky and greasy. That being said, it is a lovely lodge and we would return, maybe just needs a better cleaner.
