A delightful semi-detached bungalow resting in a central location in the popular Lake District town of Keswick, Noble Knott is a spacious and welcoming dwelling for four guests. Perfect for families and friends to enjoy a much-needed break from the everyday, Noble Knott makes a peaceful base for all of your Lakes adventures. On walking inside, you will enter into a charming living/dining room where you can relax after a day outdoors, featuring an electric fire which adds a homely ambiance along with sofas to sink into, and a TV with Freeview . Across the way is the kitchen, fully-equipped with wooden units and a good selection of appliances including an electric oven, a gas hob, a microwave and a fridge/freezer, along with a handy washing machine. Rustle up tasty meals in here to be enjoyed in the dining area, or head outside to the lovely garden to dine alfresco in the summer months at the patio furniture. A nicely tiled bathroom is a wonderful addition to the property, with a shower and a heated rail to keep your towel warm. Sweeping across the hall will bring you to the twin bedroom, while the second and final bedroom is a double, with both offering pretty views of the greenery outside. Head into the town of Keswick which is just an easy stroll away to discover a bustling atmosphere teaming with independent shops, local cafés and restaurants and traditional pubs, along with a market held every Saturday and Thursday in the Market Square. Several local activity organisers can be found here too to help you plan an exciting outing with ghyll scrambling being very popular, as well as a host of watersports to try out on the nearby lake, Derwentwater, including paddle-boarding, kayaking, and canoeing. Learn about the discovery of black lead in the area, sparking a boom in pencil making in the town, at Derwent Pencil Museum, or head to the unique and unusual Puzzling Place and be wowed by optical illusions. Two of the Lake District’s best and biggest peaks lie next door to Keswick, Skiddaw and Blencathra, so any walkers can delight in taking on either of these challenges to be rewarded at the top with stunning, far-reaching views. Nearby, between Braithwaite and Buttermere lies the beautiful Newlands Valley, while picturesque Bassenthwaite Lake is a short visit away. Keswick, the northern Lake District holiday hub, has something to offer visitors at any time of year. The town has many stores and restaurants to suit all interests, as well as miniature golf, wonderful parks, the famous Theatre by the Lake, a quaint cinema, the Pencil Museum, a climbing wall, fishing and great mountain biking prospects. Between Braithwaite and Buttermere sits the lovely Newlands Valley, and Bassenthwaite Lake is a must-see. Everybody can enjoy a peaceful countryside stroll or a hard walk up Skiddaw or the Catbells. Alternatively, take a boat excursion around Derwentwater or see the Castlerigg Stone Circle. Great family attractions, parks, and the surrounding Lake District Wildlife Park make this a year-round Lakeland destination.
