About this property

Newlands Fell House is set within the tranquil Newlands Valley, close to the popular market town of Keswick, and offers an impressive base for large families, walking parties or groups of friends planning a memorable break in the Lake District. Surrounded by dramatic fell scenery, this substantial detached property provides plenty of space to relax and socialise after days spent outdoors. Inside, the accommodation is thoughtfully arranged across generous living areas. A large sitting room, centred around a multi-fuel stove, is ideal for unwinding in the evenings, while the separate dining room offers ample space for group meals and long conversations over home-cooked food.

The kitchen is fully equipped to cater for larger numbers, supported by a useful utility room that adds extra practicality during your stay. Sleeping arrangements are spread across seven attractively furnished bedrooms, each benefitting from its own TV, allowing guests to enjoy privacy and downtime. Five of the bedrooms feature en-suite facilities, while a ground-floor twin with en-suite is particularly convenient for those who prefer easier access. A further ground-floor bathroom with a corner bath provides an inviting place to relax after a long walk on the fells. Outside, guests can make use of an enclosed patio area complete with picnic benches and a barbecue, creating a great spot for outdoor dining during warmer months.

There is also generous off-road parking for up to six cars, making arrival and day trips straightforward. Newlands Fell House offers a spacious and well-located base for discovering the landscapes, towns and outdoor adventures that make the Lake District so special. Note: This property can be booked with refs. 1195704 and 1195702, together sleeping up to 24 guests.

Nearby, between Braithwaite and Buttermere is the beautiful Newlands Valley, while picturesque Bassenthwaite Lake is well worth a visit.
