All on the ground-floor, the studio compromises a kitchen, sitting area and dining area, with the bedroom sitting in a separate alcove for your privacy and comfort. Head to the local shop and gather up some groceries to prepare in the kitchen, with a dining table conveniently placed next to it, take a seat and enjoy your home-cooked cuisine with a glass of wine and good company.

In the evenings, the sitting area offers a great place to kick back and relax while escaping in the television in one of the plush reclining armchairs; a marvellous spot to achieve true tranquillity. If you’re staying in the summer months be sure to take advantage of the courtyard at the front of the property, offering ample seating where you can enjoy a good book under the sun or play ball games with the family, retreat here to be surrounded by beautiful countryside views and the fresh breeze. Braithwaite is a wonderful village in a prime location for exploring the Lake District National Park and all of its wonders. Although the village is fairly modest, it offers two local shops providing a wide array of amenities for your self-catered trip, as well as two real ale inns offering a brilliant space to spend your evenings outside of your wonderful holiday home. Close by you can find a wide array of tourist hot spots, including Skiddaw, Mirehouse, and Dodd Wood just to name a few. Surrounded by wonderful lands and lots to do Braithwaite is a lovely village to spend your adventure in Cumbria.

    Lorraine has always been on hand if needed. Braithwaite has always been our favourite spot to visit over the years with plenty of walks from the cottage

    Lovely little cottage well positioned for walks 3 pubs within 200 yards with all doing food 100 yards to the shop and 3 coffee shops which do food and sandwiches on your door step the accommodation everything you need is in the cottage it's located in a lovely courtyard with your own parking area will stay again they only negative was it could do with updating but well worth a visit many thanks John

    Lovely situation. Unfortunately the weather was against us and we left early. Next time hopefully the weather will be kinder. When we return to the Lake District I hope we can rebook.
