Swinside is a delightful property well equipped and furnished to a high standard. Suitable for couples or a family of three. Energetic guests may like to try conquering Latrigg, Skiddaw or Catbells. The jaws of the Borrowdale Valley are easily accessed on foot from Swinside Cottage. Others can enjoy a walk to the nearby Fitz park or the local pubs. A very welcoming property ideal for a couple or family to enjoy all the amenities which are within easy reach of the property.
The bustling market town of Keswick, a walkers paradise surrounded by stunning and spectacular scenery. The lower slopes of Skiddaw, Latrigg and the jaws of Borrowdale Valley are all within walking distance. Other beauty spots include Whinlatter Forest, Ashness Bridge, Surprise View and of course the shores of Derwentwater offering a wide variety of activities including boat hire and cruises. For the less active there are numerous shops, pubs, restaurants, museums and parks and of course The Theatre by the Lake. There really is something here for everyone.

There's just the two of us so it is a perfect size. Spotlessly clean and warm and comfortable. I love the theme of the lakes and sheep in the home furnishings too

Only negative was difficulty parking at certain times of day. We would have no hesitation in booking again.

The cottage is very comfortable and cosy with all the facilities you need to make your stay a memorable vacation. If we come to Keswick next year Swinside cottage will be at the top of our list to book again.
