Guests say

Lavender Cottage is highly praised for its prime location in Keswick, comfort, and well-equipped facilities. Guests appreciate its proximity to the town centre and local attractions, making it an excellent base for exploring the Lake District. The cottage is described as homely, warm, and generally clean, with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable living areas. While there is a mention of a pet odour and the need for some updates, the overall sentiment is positive, with many guests looking forward to returning.

Most guests found Lavender Cottage to be clean and well-kept. However, there was a single complaint about a pet odour and a grubby living room carpet, suggesting room for improvement in deep cleaning, particularly as it accommodates pets.

The location is consistently lauded for being close to the centre of Keswick and within walking distance to local attractions, offering a quiet stay with convenient parking. It's an ideal spot for those looking to explore the Lake District.

Guests report that the cottage is comfortable, with a homely feel, comfortable beds, and a warm atmosphere. There is a minor note about steep stairs, but overall, the comfort level is highly regarded.

The cottage is praised for being well-equipped and providing essentials. Some guests suggested the addition of a tumble dryer or heated airer, and there was an issue with a television, but these are minor compared to the overall positive feedback.

While guests have mentioned appreciating the thoughtful touches, such as kitchen essentials and a welcome gift, there is not enough consistent detail across reviews to accurately score this category. It should be noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and may not be provided with every stay.
