The location and allocated parking space was a bonus because the apartment was average. I just want to say that the shower wasn’t fit for purpose and was a health hazard which needs to be addressed. For that reason, we certainly would not book there again.

We enjoyed our stay and have booked for next year, however there are issues which could be improved: The fridge wasn't as clean as it should be, neither were some of the mugs. The non slip bath mat is now almost free of black mould as I spent some time cleaning it with the washing up brush which itself is cleaner than it was. Sadly the instructions for the shower did not work for us and we found ourselves having to dodge sudden cold blasts, which being in our 80s, is no fun. However we found that running the hot tap on the basin after starting the shower tricked the shower into operating properly so all was well. We loved the fact that Kissing Gate is on the ground floor, the dedicated parking space, it's homely feel and it's close proximity to the Convention at the Pencil Factory. See you next year🙂
