Guests say

Greenstone is a beautifully presented, modern bungalow in a peaceful location on the edge of Keswick, offering comfortable accommodation and a lovely enclosed garden ideal for relaxing or bringing a dog. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, spacious layout, and easy access to scenic walks. While most found the property clean and inviting, some noted areas for improvement in maintenance and cleanliness. The driveway is narrow, and a few kitchen items could be updated. Overall, Greenstone provides a welcoming base for exploring Keswick and the surrounding area.

Most guests found the property clean and well-presented, but several mentioned issues such as dusty light fittings, cobwebs, and some dirty or rusty kitchenware. A few guests felt cleaning standards could be improved, particularly in the kitchen and with the vacuum cleaner.

The location is highly praised for its peaceful setting just outside Keswick, with easy access to walks and the town centre. Guests enjoyed the quiet, privacy, and proximity to local amenities, though the driveway and road were noted as narrow and bumpy.

Guests consistently described the bungalow as comfortable, spacious, and ideal for relaxing. The beds and furniture received positive comments, and the property is well-suited for both families and older guests. Some minor suggestions included blackout curtains and a fan for hot weather.

The property is well-equipped with crockery, cutlery, and cookware, though some items are worn and could be replaced. Guests appreciated the showers, garden, and en-suite, but noted issues with the gas fire, towel rail, and some kitchen utensils. Maintenance checks could be more thorough.

A welcome pack, previously including a bottle of wine, was missed by returning guests, but it should be noted that such gifts are not guaranteed. Some guests appreciated the dog-friendly garden and overall homely touches.

Excellent location. Some cobwebs. The rusty pan and trays are still there, had to buy our own. Gas fire in the living room didnt work. Contacted the office who said would send someone the next day and no one arrived or contacted me. Overall nice stay just the odd things that need looking into

Great location, just outside of Keswick up a steep hill, but private and quiet. Bungalow was great, beds and furniture very comfortable. Nice to have an en-suite as well. Some blinds in the front windows would be a great option, also blackout curtains in main bedroom. Lovely enclosed garden. Some lovely 3 to 4 mile flat walks around Keswick.
