Guests say

Elm Court 7 is praised for its excellent, peaceful location close to Keswick town centre, shops, and transport links, making it ideal for exploring the area. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen and spacious layout, as well as the convenience of parking. While many found the flat comfortable and warm, several noted that the furnishings and decor are dated, with some maintenance and cleanliness issues. Despite these drawbacks, the property remains popular with returning guests, especially those seeking a dog-friendly stay.

Cleanliness is mixed, with some guests finding the apartment clean and tidy, while others mention stained carpets, poor-quality towels, and occasional lapses in cleaning such as crumbs and leftover fat. Overall, standards are average but could be improved.

The location is consistently highlighted as a major strength, being close to the town centre, supermarkets, bus station, and walking routes, yet remaining quiet and peaceful.

Comfort receives varied feedback. Many guests found the flat warm and beds comfortable, but several reviews mention uncomfortable mattresses and pillows, as well as tired furnishings. Some suggest mattress toppers or updates would improve comfort.

Facilities are generally good, with guests appreciating the well-equipped kitchen, washer, and parking. However, maintenance issues such as broken furniture, TV difficulties, and bathroom wear are noted, indicating room for improvement.

There are no mentions of welcome gifts or extra thoughtful touches in the reviews, so a score cannot be provided for this category.

Location is excellent: the apartment backs on to the River Greta and is in very close to two Supermarkets and the Bus Station. However, the apartment itself is dated and quite shabby with stained carpets that need a good clean. The toilet cistern broke twice whilst we were there. The plumber came out on the first occasion and made some adjustments to the internal mechanism when really he should have replaced everything. Not surprisingly it broke again on the morning we were leaving. Also one of the bedside lamps was not working. Tried changing the bulb but there is obviously an electrical fault. We have stayed at several apartments in Elliot Park during the past few years and they have all been furnished and maintained at a very high standard so we were very disappointed with our stay this year.

A comfortable well equipped apartment very close to bus station pubs and town

The apartment had very tired furnishings. The carpet was quite badly stained The towels were very poor quality. The bedding was clean but had seen better days. The chair coverings at the table were stained. The beds were very hard and the quilts were very poor quality. There weren't any drawers or storage in the second bedroom. The apartment just looked in need of decoration. On a positive note the location was great. Our friends were staying in an apartment Grovenour Court the next block and their apartment was a much better standard.
