Head on through to the bedroom to unpack your belongings, here you can find a super-king-size bed and bunk beds, offering a brilliant layout for those with young children. In the warmer months, enjoy ball games with the children in the shared courtyard, or take out a cup of coffee to bask in the sun before heading out on an action-packed day of adventure. Cottage 3 is a delightful property to spend a trip with your loved ones, within close proximity to a wonderful array of amenities, it makes a great base for exploring the luscious lands of the Lake District.

Between the magnificent northern lakes of Derwentwater and Bassenthwaite, lies the village of Braithwaite. Still retaining much of its traditional appeal, the Coledale Beck runs through the village with whitewashed Lakeland cottages, two village shops and two real ale Inns each brimming with character! Between Braithwaite and Buttermere is the beautiful Newlands Valley, while picturesque Bassenthwaite Lake is well worth a visit. From a gentle countryside ramble to a challenging hike up Skiddaw, there really is something for everyone. Visit Mirehouse, a grand house and gardens on the shores of the lake with an open-air theatre, or take a trip around the lake. Lake District Wildlife Park, Dodd Wood, Derwentwater, and Keswick with its wide range of attractions, are also within easy reach.
