Carthwaite is a four-bedroom town house, superbly equipped and furnished throughout, ideally suited for six with the added flexibility of a seventh bed. Situated in a quiet residential area but only 5 minutes level walk into the town centre, it provides easy access to shops, restaurants, pubs and visitor attractions.
The four bedrooms comprise two doubles, (one with en-suite), one twin and one single room. The main bathroom has a shower over the bath. The property also has a downstairs toilet and washbasin, making it ideal for the larger family or two smaller families sharing.
Patio doors from the living room open onto a small rear garden which is enclosed, well sheltered and south facing. On sunny days it is a sun trap, providing an ideal place to relax, either in the morning, lunchtime or especially in the afternoon after a rewarding walk.
A new kitchen was fitted in January 2020. It is well equipped with electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher and washer/dryer. A combined fridge/freezer contains four fridge shelves and one drawer and three freezer drawers.
A small car park at the rear provides one allocated space to the property and is situated in the corner of the car park, directly opposite Carthwaite’s rear garden gate. On-street parking is also available. Shop, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.
There are low banisters at the property.

Enjoyed our stay in Keswick the accomadtion wasn't to far from the centre. The cottage was very comfortable and clean, we were disappointed about the car park being unavailable as it was one of the reasons we chose this accomadtion, but we did manage to find a place close by and were always lucky that it was always available in we took the cat out

A modern house in a very convenient location a short walk from the town centre. There is plenty of space in the house, an enclosed garden and an on-site parking space, plus unrestricted street parking in the immediate area. We found the house to be well equipped and clean, and we would definitely return.

Great house, with everything we needed for an active holiday with easy access into Keswick. Rooms are comfortable and everything worked well with helpful things like coat hooks at the entrance. Location is perfect, an easy walk into town. Only issue is the small parking space made even tighter by a wall storage unit in the way. And the right size double sheet would be great.
