Beechnut made an excellent base from which to access the hills of the Northern Lakes. Also it was central to the town so good for other activities and amenities when the weather wasn't good, I.e. shops, cinema, cafes pubs etc. We had everything thing we needed for the week and we're very comfortable. However the light on the cooker was flickering, so left off. There is a crack in the casing so unsure if it is related to steam getting in or if the bulb is going. Cooker hood still works without.Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again in the future.

The location was brilliant, flat was clean, only problem was bedroom and hall heaters never got warm. Living room got aired! So had noisy fire on humming, so had to turn TV up a lot. Don't expect this to be posted so turn the radiators up to fit the weather conditions.Stayed in a few of your cottages over the years but this was the coldest. Wickham view was absolutely perfect.

Our stay began on a low note. There was an electricity outage. Fortunately this was rectified relatively quickly but we then had to contact the office to reprogram some of the settings. The maintenance man was very helpful. Unfortunately this apartment was not very clean in fact it was the worst we have stayed in. Fortunately the bedding was clean and I was able to buy cleaning wipes to make the rest a little better.
