A very spacious, well equipped, kitchen/dining room and a shower room is situated on the lower ground floor, with a door to the outside. The living area is on the ground floor with patio doors to a balcony and the bedrooms and a second shower room are on the first floor. Shop, pub and restaurant 50 yards.

We had a wonderful week doing plenty of beautiful walks, taking advantage of the buses with our bus passes. The bed was a little too soft for me. The showers were lovely and hot. The heating on auto setting (2x1hr per day) was perfectly adequate. We made use of the eateries within a few minutes walk and enjoyed an evening at the local theatre. The hob and oven worked well. It was a shame that the door lock to the balcony was jammed, preventing access.

Lovely cottage very well presented in a great location for exploring the lakes. Nicely furnished. Well equipped kitchen, lots of stairs.Unfortunately for us the bed wasn’t as comfortable as we Would have liked.
