Situated on the fringe of the town, this wonderful apartment offers the best of both worlds, with all the amenities of the town centre close by, yet with views of the nearby Lakeland Fells and walking opportunities from the door. Keswick, renowned for its spectacular setting and surrounded by mountains, is the perfect base to enjoy a holiday in the northern Lake District. If you don’t wish to venture far, take a stroll through the town with its many outdoor and speciality shops, friendly pubs, cafés and restaurants. Shop, pub and restaurant 400 yards.

NEGATIVESOnly 1 toilet roll was provided for the week.I would like to have seen the provision of liquid soap in the bathroom and kitchen.Broadband is still ADSL, with an approximate download/upload speed of 10mb/1mb, but is intermittent. FTTC Broadband is available for upgrade at the premises which would provide speeds of 72mb/10mb if the owners wished to have this installed. Like any apartment building, you can be a victim of noisy neighbours enjoying their holiday late into the mornings. Your security deposit is not returned until a week after you depart and is then subject to banking processes providing a further delay in it’s return.POSITIVES Great views!There was a general good standard of cleaning throughout.Very effective gas central heating.Well furnished with comfortable soft furnishings.Very comfortable king size bed.Powerful shower over the bath.SMART TV enabling access to most streaming apps, however please note the HDMI ports were not accessible due to it’s wall mounting. Electric clothes airer/dryer worked well. Supermarket within 5 minutes’ walk.
