Guests say

1 Millbank is a well-received cottage in Keswick, praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and prime location. Guests appreciate the powerful shower, comfortable beds, and dedicated parking. The property's proximity to the town centre and scenic views are notable, with some guests enjoying the added touch of a welcome gift. While some minor suggestions for improvement are mentioned, the overall sentiment is highly positive, with many guests planning to return.

The property is consistently described as clean, with only one mention of it being clean but not spotless. The majority of reviews highlight the cleanliness positively, indicating a high standard maintained.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to the town centre, quietness, and ease of access to local attractions and walks. The dedicated parking and scenic views contribute to the positive feedback.

Comfort is frequently mentioned, with guests finding the beds warm and comfortable. However, there are comments about a squeaky bed and synthetic bedding causing discomfort, slightly lowering the score.

Facilities are generally well-received, with a powerful shower and good kitchen area noted. Some guests suggested improvements in kitchen utensils and the addition of a bath, indicating room for enhancement.

While a welcome gift is mentioned positively, there are not enough references to other thoughtful touches to accurately score this category. It should be noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and not guaranteed.

Everything that you would need for your stay. Added bonus of a generous sized car park space at the back of the property. Spotless, warm and cosy. Very comfy beds too. Loved it so much we have already booked to come in October.

Beautifully presented and clean with everything we needed and more. It was nice and warm on arrival and the heating dial was easy to adjust and we slept really well as the bed was so comfortable. It has the benefit of being centrally located in town and being just slightly raised feels very open with some views and a lovely outside seating area. We were in one large car but the private parking area at the rear easily fits two and access was fine, we found it easiest to approach via Stranger Street. We look forward to returning.

We were quite concerned when we received the joining instructions. These indicated difficult access via a steep hill and little lighting at night. To anyone else concerned, don't worry, it is nowhere as difficult as it reads. However, we did prefer using Stanger Street as access. We parked our car in the allocated space immediately behind the house and didn't need to use it until going home. The property is in a great location, very quiet area but so close to the town centre. We enjoyed the fabulous views and sat outside in the back garden until sunset. We found there was plenty of room inside for us - a couple. We closed the blinds and curtains and enjoyed warm cosy evenings inside. We appreciated the calm and restful decor, comfortable beds, and sofas. We found the kitchen well kitted out, quality utensils and appliances and the toaster is the same as we have at home. I have honestly never stayed in a property with as many electric sockets - so convenient. We loved staying here and would have no hesitation in recommending this property.
