This attractive ground floor apartment is excellently furnished and equipped to provide for your every comfort. It has a feature fireplace with a working fire in the living/dining room.

Excellent base for walking in the Northern Fells.Good, clean and well maintained accommodation.

The apartment is very basic. However the beds and sofa’s are comfortable.On arrival I had to clean the kitchen as there was grease and food splashes on the tiles near the hob. (Not much in the way of cleaning products provided) The cupboard doors were dirty and the glass on the door between the kitchen and lounge was dirty with fingerprints The fridge door and washing machine door do not join and therefore every time you went into the fridge you had to open the washing machine door before closing the fridge door or the fridge door would not close properly.It felt that the kitchen and bathrooms all needed a deep clean, lots of black mould on sealant and plastic bathmat in bathroom. Basics were also missing. Salt and pepper which is usually a standard consisted of what appeared to be sachets taken from Weatherspoons.The television is too small for the lounge, Unsure how this is classed as 4 stars, when I have stayed in 3 star accommodation in the same block which was a real home from home.Very disappointed, considering the cost.
