Can’t thank Kate enough for letting us stay here. The place was clean, cosy, and has a great view. She went the extra mile to make our stay extra special. Has a good off-grid camper vibe even though it’s only 5 mins from Cockermouth. Highly recommend staying here

Perfect stay. Very close to the nearby village of Cockermouth with plenty of access to shops, local pubs and restaurants as well as being a short drive from other local villages like Keswick or Thirlmere if you want to explore the lakes. The hut itself was clean, tidy and cosy with everything you need for your stay with a lovely hot tub to relax in. Fantastic host, always available if you had any problems or questions and generally really lovely to speak to.
