Set on a working farm this characterful cottage is perfect for families, couples, and friends alike, with plenty of walks on your doorstep.

Located on the West Coast of Cumbria, perfect to explore nearby Muncaster Castle and the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway, and fell walkers have just a short drive to England s highest peak, Scafell Pike at the far end of the Wasdale Valley. The open stretches of Seascale beach are perfect for young, old and dogs too! Golf, horse riding, and numerous restaurants are all nearby. Once you step into this cosy cottage you will feel relaxed and at home. The lounge/diner is the hub of the house and offers all you need for your holiday, with two sofas surrounding the TV/DVD and a lovely wood burner set in a traditional Lakeland cottage hearth. One of the sofas can turn into a double sofa bed to accommodate two extra guests. There is also an AGA for added warmth along with a dining table and chairs. Step into the kitchen which offers plenty of space to rustle up a meal with an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washing machine. Head up the steep cottage stairs to the first floor where you will find two bedrooms, both doubles, one with an additional bunk bed. Completing the property is the bathroom with roll top bath with handheld shower over, a separate shower and WC. Outside you will find a patio area with seating to enjoy those beautiful views at the front of the cottage and a small yard to rear. Guests can also explore the Glamping Paddock where there is a picnic table, playhouse, pedal car and play shed containing children's toys and outdoor games. There is off road parking for two cars. There is also bike storage available. Please note if bringing dogs, they will need to be controlled on a lead around the farm, the farm has dogs and cats on the grounds. Need to know: 2 Bedrooms 2 doubles, one with an additional bunk bed. 1 Bathroom with roll top bath with shower over, separate shower and WC. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher. TV/DVD in the lounge. Travel cot and high chair available on request. AGA located in the lounge/diner. Wood burner (first basket of logs included). Patio with furniture. Gas BBQ available. lamping Paddock with picnic table, playhouse, pedal car and play shed containing children's toys and outdoor games. Bike Storage. Private parking for 2 cars. Pub and shop within walking distance. Meat and vegetarian BBQ hampers can be ordered directly with the owner. Supermarket deliveries can be ordered the morning of your arrival and the owner will put this away for you. Motor home / camper van hook up available advise through owner. Please note that the wi fi can be intermittent as the cottage is in a rural area. Please be aware that the staircase to the first floor is very steep. Sleeps 6 2 (double sofa bed in the lounge). Throughout the cottage there are adjoining doors to the main farmhouse, these are locked at all times . Please note if bringing dogs, they will need to be controlled on a lead around the farm, the farm has dogs and cats on the grounds. .
