Catch a steam train on the narrow gauge railway from Boot, 4 miles away, to take you through spellbinding scenery to Ravenglass, on the coast, 6 miles from the cottage. Visit Muncaster Castle while you are here. Have a day out at Ambleside, 19 miles away, with its shops, cafes and restaurants, and proximity to Lake Windermere. Enter this picture postcard house via a porch with space for outerwear then step into the character filled lounge, with its beautiful beams, fireplace, brick and stonework.
