To the rear of the property is a small seating area with bistro furniture, offering the perfect spot for a morning coffee. A fantastic selection of shops, pubs and restaurants are in the immediate vicinity enabling you to pick up any essentials or dine out at one of the many pubs, restaurants and takeaways which await you. To explore the area further, venture North and spend some time at the Lake District Wildlife Park, or if you are feeling active, hike up the mountain peaks of Skiddaw, Blencathra, Latrigg or Catbells. Alternatively, hop onto a boat and enjoy a leisurely cruise around Derwentwater, or brush up on the local history by spending some time at the Castlerigg Stone Circle. The stunning Newlands Valley is nearby, situated between Braithwaite and Buttermere, and the charming Bassenthwaite Lake is definitely worth a visit.
