For the more energetic Skiddaw, Latrigg, Catbells and the Borrowdale Valley are all waiting to be conquered and explored. The popular town of Keswick is the holiday centre of the north of the Lake District and has plenty to offer the visitor at any time of year. The town has a number of shops and restaurants to suit all tastes, as well as offering miniature golf, excellent parks and the famous Theatre by the Lake.

Everything you could need was provided in the apartment. After reading some previous reviews about the driveway, this did not cause us any problems. Feel very relaxed after our weeks stay. Thank you.

A fire is a 'must have' feature for our Christmas hideaway - for this to be disabled was disappointing. The temperature and amount of hot water available is pretty poor. Thin summer duvet not appropriate in winter. The kitchen set-up is excellent. Sound of people walking around in the apartment above is a bit obtrusive at times. The track leading up to the property is deeply rutted - low riding vehicles will scape the ground.

It is clean, comfortable and well-equipped. It is in a quiet location yet within easy walking distance of the centre of Keswick along the conveniently situated cycling/walking path of the former railway track.
