Bassenthwaite Lake (2 miles) is a great place for walking, cycling, paddle boarding, canoeing and picnics. It is also the home to a variety of animals, including ospreys and cormorants. Pack your hiking boots and enjoy a 4.5 mile walk, summit Dodd Fell for spectacular, panoramic views and reward your efforts with a treat in the cafe. Only 2 miles from your door, Mirehouse and Gardens is a beautiful place to spend a peaceful morning or day. Alternatively, travel the 3.5 miles to the Lakes Distillery to stock up on your favourite tipple for a wonderful evening. If you fancy a date night out, travel 6 miles to Keswick where an abundance of eateries and bars await. Entering this contemporary pod, you ll find yourself in a bright living area with a sofa and TV.
