This area is a great base for visiting the Northern Lakes and Fells, and there are some great walks and bike routes to explore from the door. Walk to Ullswater and take a trip on one of the steamers, or visit the beautiful Aira Force waterfalls. Enjoy paddleboarding or book horse trekking, or for something a bit different, why not go alpaca walking? This pretty, well equipped shepherd s hut offers a great open plan space with a raised double bed, wall mounted Smart TV, dining area and French doors looking out over the fells.
