Snaptrip says

Inglewood Cottage in Keswick is praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and prime location. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, cosy atmosphere, and proximity to the town centre. While some minor issues with facilities and maintenance are noted, the overall sentiment is positive, with many guests looking forward to returning.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The majority of guests find the cottage to be very clean and well-kept, with only a few isolated comments about dust and crumbs. The positive remarks about cleanliness are consistent, suggesting a high standard is typically maintained.

The location is highly praised for being close to the town centre and within easy walking distance to local attractions. The quiet street and the convenience for exploring Keswick are frequently mentioned as positives.

Guests generally find the cottage comfortable, with new sofas and beds receiving positive comments. However, some guests mention issues with lounge furniture comfort and a firm mattress on the single bed.

The well-equipped kitchen and the inclusion of amenities like Wi-Fi are appreciated. However, there are several remarks about issues with heating, hot water, and noise from the boiler, which affect the score.

While guests mention the provision of tea, coffee, and a welcome bottle of wine, there is not enough consistent information about thoughtful touches such as gifts to accurately score this category. It should be noted that such gestures, while appreciated, are not guaranteed.

Parking was difficult this year, quite oftenwe had to park the car streets away. The reason for the low score was due to the amount of mould on the bedroom walls - particularly the single bedroom behind the headboard. It did not look like this has been wiped down when cleaned. We stayed at Inglewood twice before this visit. Since the visit in February 2023 I cant say I could see any improvements. We had suggested a hand rail down the stairs as the existing hand rail is a bit wobbly. Would benefit from new pillows as the ones being used are a bit lumpy.

A downstairs loo would be great but I can see that that would be difficult. The bins in the back alley were a bit chaotic The welcome bottle of wine was very nice and much appreciated The beds were very comfy
