A 9.5 mile loop, the Coledale Horseshoe is a wonderful walk that winds its way over the Wainwright Fells and more. For a more leisurely day, hop on a cruise of Derwentwater (1.5 miles) where you can do a lap of the lake or hop on and off to adventure your way around the lakeside towns and villages. Treat yourselves to a night off from the kitchen and book a table at one of many lovely pubs in Keswick before enjoying a film at the cinema or a show at the Theatre by the Lake, both within a mile from your door. Stepping inside your home from home, hang up your coat and leave your shoes on the rack.
