Venture 2.5 miles to Derwentwater Marina to take a cruise or hire a boat to spend time on the lake. Lace up your walking boots and follow the 10-mile route right around Derwentwater. Stroll out to Castlerigg Stone Circle, 1.5 miles from the cottage.
