Perfect for a family or group of six, this holiday home also welcomes a pair of delighted dogs. Well positioned for valley and hill walks, it is in an excellent location for climbing Borrowdale s Castle Crag or Dale Head, as well as for canoeing, kayaking or even a steamboat trip on Derwentwater. Spend hours in Keswick, with its interesting shops and good choice of cafes and restaurants; go mountain biking and wildlife watching in Whinlatter Forest, 9 miles away and also known for its adventure play areas. See the famous Castlerigg Stone Circle, 6.5 miles from your base. Open the front door on to this whitewashed cottage and follow the hall into the lounge. Lay a fire in the wood burner and settle down to a film on the smart TV as it roars. Enjoy the spectacular views from either end of this welcoming room. When mealtimes beckon, amble through into the kitchen/diner to prepare delicious treats for your party. Find there is a fridge, dishwasher, cooker and microwave in here and that the cooking area opens into a dining space, where you can gather at the table together. Enjoy the benefit of the utility area, with its washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer, when it comes to dealing with damp clothing or doggy towels after long walks and find there is also a ground floor WC.
