Reviewers frequently mention the cottage's cleanliness, describing it as spotless and well-maintained. The provision of fluffy towels and the overall tidiness contribute to the high cleanliness rating.

The cottage's location is highly regarded for its peaceful setting and convenience for exploring the Lake District. Its proximity to local towns, pubs, and attractions like Allonby beach is also noted.

Comfort is a recurring theme, with guests finding the cottage cosy and well-furnished. The warm welcome, comfortable beds, and the heating system are particularly appreciated, although one guest found the mattress hard, which is a personal preference.

Facilities are generally praised, especially the BBQ hut and the well-equipped kitchen. However, a few guests missed having a freezer or a washing machine, which slightly affects the score.

The host's thoughtfulness is evident in the welcome packs, treats for pets, and additional touches like fresh flowers and birthday banners. While these gifts are warmly received, they are subject to change and may not be guaranteed for every stay.

Very welcoming and warm. Very quiet with pretty much everything you need. Some great welcoming touches (wine and biscuits) I would definitely recommend putting a cake order in! You won’t regret it!

Exactly as listed. Really helpful owner, even left a bottle of wine and some other bits and bobs for our arrival. Will definitely return.
