Snaptrip says

Guests generally enjoy the peaceful, secluded setting of The Stable, with its private hot tub and garden area. The property's location in Herefordshire offers a tranquil retreat with the convenience of nearby attractions. The hosts are often described as friendly and helpful, contributing to a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Most guests found The Stable to be clean and tidy, though a few mentioned areas where cleanliness could be improved, such as the bathroom and kitchen. The feedback suggests that while the overall standard is good, attention to detail in certain areas could enhance the experience.

The location is highly praised for its tranquillity and proximity to local attractions. Guests appreciate the seclusion and the natural beauty of the surrounding area, although some noted that the property can be difficult to find and the access road is challenging for lower vehicles.

The Stable is often described as cosy and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and a pleasant open-plan layout. However, some guests mentioned issues with heating and the bathroom facilities, suggesting room for improvement in these areas.

Facilities like the hot tub, fire pit, and log burner are highlights for many guests. Nonetheless, comments about the lack of a secure lock on the stable door, the need for better maintenance, and the provision of cleaning equipment indicate that some aspects of the facilities require attention.

While many guests have had positive experiences with the hosts and the property, there are no specific mentions of gifts or special touches that would fall under the category of thoughtfulness. Therefore, it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

This might not be an issue to some but the fact you had to have all blinds and curtains closed (as it's all one room) to get dressed (or if you don't want to be seen in your pyjamas!) meant we spent more than we would've liked of the stay in the dark. The bathroom is fine, I'm not sure why there aren't pictures on the listing. It could do with a proper clean though. The central heating thermostat is directly above the single radiator so it's very difficult to get the space warm before the central heating cuts out. The kitchen is good and well equipped, everything you need to cook a Sunday roast. The track to gain access to the property is very rutted and any car that's even slightly lower will ground out, an SUV or 4x4 is required really. An Audi A3 is not suitable and struggled to get along the track. Charging £5 a bag for logs seems pretty unreasonable given the cost of staying here, the 'starter' logs were used up very quickly. Ross on Wye is nearby as is Symonds Yat, well worth a visit. If you're looking for somewhere to stay in this area this might suit, if, like us, you were looking for a great property to explore any area, there are better options with better views and more privacy.

Comfortable and thoughtfully furnished. So relaxing to be in a hot tub and listening to owls at night. Bliss

It’s such an idyllic place to relax and unwind and we will definitely be back The hot tub is a welcome addition and it was fab to sit in it at dusk and hear the owls and birds
