There is a whole host of scenery in the surrounding area, with the delightful market town of Ross-on-Wye well worth visiting as it boasts stunning buildings and a good range of amenities. The Old Stables is a charming cottage in an excellent location.

The property itself has everything you could want for a relaxing ,homely stay.lovely views over the lakes,huge garden for the dogs to wander around,also for us humans.i wandered around garden with a cuppa every morning taking in the view and sounds of the birds etc .. All in all a great stay. A great holiday ,didnt want to go home.lol.

The garden is great, with fantastic views over the lake. Just to say, yes, the motorway is nearby, you can hardly hear it - it is a two lane motorway, so not the M60/M25, and at 5pm on a Friday evening I counted 8 cars as I was stood on the bridge!!! Would we go back??? Yep, already planning out next trip for next year!
