Staying on the brink of the English and Welsh border, just a hop, skip and a jump away from the charming town of Hay on Wye (4 miles), you ll want for nothing throughout this unforgettable stay. Set off from your doorstep to enjoy the beautiful walks or mountain biking routes on offer in the area, or travel to the Brecon Beacons National Park (4 miles) for famed hikes and fabulous dark skies for star spotting. The Black Mountain Range is well worth exploring, as well as Pen y Fan (21 miles) Brecon s highest mountain peak! Check in with the property s owner for fishing tips and tricks, accessing the River Wye (2.5 miles) for barbel, trout and salmon fishing. This unforgettable cabin maintains a lodge aesthetic from the inside out, with wooden panelling on the walls and sturdy oak furniture throughout. Step inside and find the sociable open plan living space, where kitchen, dining room and lounge can be found in one generous space. The kitchen is well equipped with electric cooker and hob, microwave, large fridge/freezer and dishwasher for mealtimes, along with a washing machine for if you ve been caught in the rain! Sit down together at the dining table for six, before retiring to the comfy sofas to watch TV. Three bedrooms can be found right here on the ground floor, including two double bedrooms and one handy twin. One of these doubles boasts an en suite shower room with WC, but all of them have been lovingly decorated with comfortable beds and soft furnishings. Completing the property is a family shower room with WC. Soak up the Welsh sun in two wonderful outdoor areas. From French doors in the lounge area, step onto a charming little wooden balcony with outdoor dining set ideal for morning coffee or an evening tipple. The property also boasts a secure and generous garden, which is enclosed by a fence and is perfect for children or pets to run around. Fire up the BBQ and dine alfresco when blessed with sunny skies. Parking available for 2 cars. The Owner will plant a tree on their land for every visitor they have at the lodge so far around 7,000 trees have been planted.
