Snaptrip says

Guests have consistently praised Timber Barn for its beautiful setting, spaciousness, and well-equipped nature. The hot tub and tennis court are frequently mentioned highlights, and the property's suitability for large groups and family gatherings is often celebrated. The owners are commended for their friendliness and helpfulness, contributing to the property's warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The majority of guests found Timber Barn to be clean and well-maintained, with only a few minor comments about cleanliness that do not detract significantly from the overall high standards experienced by most visitors.

The location is highly regarded for its peacefulness, beautiful countryside views, and proximity to quaint villages and local pubs. Some guests noted that the property is within a working farmyard, which was not expected, but this did not significantly impact the positive reception of the location.

Comfort is a strong point for Timber Barn, with guests frequently mentioning the comfortable beds and warm atmosphere provided by features like underfloor heating. The spaciousness of the property also contributed to the comfort of guests, allowing for both social gatherings and private retreats.

Facilities such as the hot tub, tennis court, and well-equipped kitchen are often highlighted as excellent. Some guests mentioned minor issues with furniture and hot tub maintenance, but these were not widespread concerns and overall satisfaction with the facilities was high.

While guests have mentioned receiving bottles of wine and the owner's warm welcome, there are not enough references to specific thoughtful gestures or gifts to accurately score this category. It should be noted that such gestures, while appreciated, are not guaranteed for all stays.

The property is huge, and easily swallowed all 10 of us, with plenty of kit for our cooking needs. Even in mid-February, the hot tub was enjoyed by many, and it even lights up at night (bring your cozzies to check it out!) The tennis court was also used several times, although some of us found out we weren't as young as we used to be! Although the property is on a working farm, the goings-on were not obtrusive, and didn't hinder our enjoyment, and once they had gone home for the day, the afternoons and evenings were so wonderfully quiet. We didn't explore the area too much as the break was really to spend time with family, but there is enough to do and see within short drives. If I had to be really picky (and I know that's why you read these reviews, right?) the only thing I would say is that some of the furniture was a little uncomfortable if seated for a long time, but it wasn't too much of an issue. We had a fabulous week at the barn, and would highly recommend a stay. Thanks Zigi.

The barn is very well equipped and with plenty of room and facilities for 12. The availability of kitchen equipment and crockery is great, particularly when catering for large numbers, The hot tub is always a firm favourite, particularly after long walks in the area. The property and the facilities lends itself to relaxing time. I would highly recommend the property.

The owner was away for the weekend and the numbers in the help book wasn’t available basically telling us to Google it. A lovely man called Tom managed get to get the user manual by the time we done that, it was ready for us to use on the Sunday which most of the group had left by then, the house is stunning we even had a karaoke machine we bought with us and zigi didn’t mind, we hired the place for a week but only stayed for a long weekend ( the price was the same) we all had a relaxing time a lovely little get away
