Once owned by the Steinway family, makers of the world’s finest pianos, Stagg Farmhouse has recently been refurbished with family fun and entertainment in mind and makes for a carefree and relaxing stay in the country.

The Grade II listed farmhouse dating back to 1667, retains authentic historic character with an added twist of elegance to complement the detailed historic craftsmanship, beautiful stonework and the picturesque surroundings, all of which will add to a magical stay.

Both the big and little kids in your group, are going to love the two dedicated games rooms. For juniors, the fun games room off the kitchen has a wide selection of toys and games including table football, ice hockey and snooker, while the tech savvy will enjoy the Xbox room with beanbags and a high definition wide screen TV which also doubles up as somewhere to watch a movie. Adults get to have their own space in this house and will have the luxury of choosing between the sitting room with log burner, window seat in the large country kitchen, dining room or hiding away in the private gardens with a good book and a glass of wine.

The upper floor offers you just as much space as downstairs, with a staircase at each end, you will find a master bedroom at the top of both. Two twin rooms in the middle are connected by a fun hobbit style door and a mezzanine floor in one of the rooms makes for an ideal hiding place or teenager's den. The layout of this house makes it ideal for two families to share, as you can split the upstairs space into two ends for privacy.

Stagg Farmhouse truly is a little oasis to get away from it all and enjoy time together whilst being superbly located to explore the towns and countryside of the Cotswolds and The Forest of Dean.

Sleeps 8+2 in 4 bedrooms with 3.5 bathrooms (of which 2 are en-suite.)

2 SuperKing beds, both can be made into singles on request. 2 Twin bedrooms and two put up beds.

A large front and rear garden
Ground Floor:

Games Room: Small football table that can be converted into a pool table, hockey table or table tennis. Lots of games and toys and french doors leading out onto the large patio. (We request dogs are kept in this room when they have been outside to dry off)

Kitchen: American double fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, full sized Aga with added electric oven and hob, table and seating for six. Steps up to the dining room.

Downstairs WC

Dining Room: Feature fireplace, table, and seating for 10, stairs to the first floor.

Sitting Room: TV with Freeview, seating for 10, log burner with starter basket of logs, french doors leading onto the back garden.

Snug: A fun room with bean bags, TV with Freeview, Xbox that can also be used as a DVD player, games and DVD’s (the two put up beds can be put in this room, sleeps 2), stairs to the first floor.
First Floor:

Master Bedroom: (sleeps 2) super King size bed that can be made into two singles on request. (This room is also large enough to accommodate the two put up beds).

Bathroom 1: Opposite the master bedroom with bath and separate shower, underfloor heating.

Bedroom 2: (Sleeps 2), twin bedroom with two single beds, a quirky feature of this room is that there is also a toilet and sink.

Bedroom 3: (Sleeps 2), twin bedroom with two single beds, a mezzanine floor can be found up a paddle ladder, parents please be aware to supervise children using this.

Bathroom 2: En-suite to bedroom 3 with a shower cubicle.

Bedroom 4: (Sleeps 2), super King size bed that can be made into two singles on request.

Bathroom 3: En-suite to bedroom 4 has a freestanding roll top bath with hand held shower head.
Outside:

To the front of the house, there is a large private garden, patio with garden furniture, BBQ, private parking and a carport. To the rear, there is another private garden.

2 well-behaved dogs are welcome but are asked not to go upstairs or on the furniture. Owners are also asked to keep dogs in the games room when they have been outside to dry before allowing them to enter the house.

Hen parties are welcome at this house but are kindly asked to remember this is a family home and there is a small neighbouring barn.
