The local area offers amazing walking routes, being right on the Cotswold’s Way, you’ll know all the best routes and nature spots in the area. You’ll find a country pub within a 5 minute walk and others within a 30 minute walk, and Stonehouse Railway Station is a 30 minute walk away, with direct trains to Stroud, Cheltenham and Gloucester. Within the town of Stroud, you’ll also find amenities that both children and adults can enjoy, with plentiful shops and restaurants to explore as well as historic landmarks to discover. If you’re feeling a bit more adventurous, hop on the train and head to the city of Gloucester, known for its Romanesque and Gothic architecture it’s a beautiful way to explore the remains of the 11th century history, not forgetting it’s cathedral.
