The barn conversion is very nice indeed - it's fitted to a very high standard and is beautiful. There's a good amount of interior space - more than enough for our small family of three. The kitchen was well fitted (although the hob was a mite unruly). You honestly only need to take food. The reason for giving four stars will likely only affect us. Firstly, the barn conversion is on a working farm with cows etc that will eventually get slaughtered. This wasn't mentioned in the description and I wouldn't have booked if I had seen it. If this sort of thing makes you uncomfortable, perhaps look elsewhere. Secondly, as it's a working farm the actual outside area is very limited. Our 6 year old wandered into the stables area which had large horses and could have been dangerous. There wasn't much stopping her from wandering in and she got told off (as did we). My advice is, if you don't want kids going into the stables, make it more secure so this doesn't happen.

This beautiful converted barn was clean, very well equipped and comfortable. If you like the peace and quiet of the countryside this is the perfect spot. It was a bit off the beaten track to find but that made it even more rural without the sound of traffic only the sound of the birds and mooing of the cows! Our hosts were helpful and pleasant.
