The bathroom has been upgraded to have a lovely big shower & is much more practical than before! We were blessed with good weather but the lodge was always warm & cosy thanks to the underfloor heating! We are avid geo-cachers & there are lots of series with in a 30 minute drive away so for us the location is ideal for 'Ryoland' caching! We loved waking up to the views over the lake with all of the wildlife in & around it! We had a minor issue with the lodge but this was dealt with quickly by the owner, Sarah & didn't affect our enjoyment! We wouldn't hesitate to return for a 3rd time!

Beautiful views and sunrises and the lodge was impeccably furnished. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed including washing machine and diswasher. We loved the underfloor heating too. I would highly recommend staying here. Excellent accommodation for a very good price.

The bathroom has been upgraded to the photos on the listing and is excellent. Great location to enjoy the countryside and then visit pretty Saffron Walden and very close to Cambridge park and ride.
