Beautiful apartment, lovely view, well set up for self catering , although personal preference would be a dishwasher rather than a washing machine.Perhaps should have read better as it’s listed as Maldon on the Cottages.com website and being unfamiliar with the area, I based the break on that basis, whereas it’s a good 20 minute drive to reach a road that goes anywhere other than where the apartment is.We were uncomfortable with the bedrooms being overlooked by the living accommodation of the property next door and had to keep the curtains shut for the duration of our stay. We were also surprised by the traffic and delivery noises, not what you expect from where it is located. Disappointed that it wasn’t mentioned that there is a Nespresso as I would have bought pods with me, those kindly provided were for a different type of Nespresso machine sadly.Also disappointed that it’s not a beach opposite but a tidal estuary so not suitable for walking on or paddling.However, if you are aware of these factors, you know what to expect and you can make the choice and it certainly shouldn’t stop you from booking a really excellent apartment
