I stayed for 2 weeks in cottage 3 (Mistletoe) instead of 6 (Bramble). The cottages are very similar so the review applies to both. I stayed for 2 weeks, the accommodation was comfortable, but missing a few basics for cooking such as a kettle and chopping board, cooking oil, salt and pepper, which you don't take with you when travelling from abroad. However, it was great to have a dishwasher and washing machine available. Views and local walks are beautiful down to the River Crouch and the recreation ground - nice areas for dog walking. We found some lovely cafes a short drive away. All staff (owner, cleaner, maintenance man) were very friendly and helpful, when resolving some minor maintenance issues.
