Guests have enjoyed their stays at Peacock on the Pin, praising its cleanliness, privacy, and the inclusion of a hot tub with modern features. The property is appreciated for its quiet village setting, though some noted it is smaller than expected. The welcome touches like prosecco and the overall seclusion are highlights for a relaxing getaway.
The property is consistently described as clean and tidy, with only one mention of a blocked shower drain causing some issues.
The location is appreciated for its quietness and proximity to a golf course, though some guests noted noise from the golf course maintenance and a lack of complete peace due to proximity to the golf club.
The bed is described as comfortable and the property as a whole is seen as a great place to unwind. However, some guests felt that the space was smaller than expected and would have preferred a separate bedroom.
The hot tub and smart TV are well-received, but there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as a blocked shower drain and worn dressing gowns. The kitchen is noted to be fairly basic with a need for more utensils.
Guests mentioned welcome gestures like prosecco on arrival and supplied milk, which are appreciated. However, it should be noted that such gifts are not guaranteed and may vary.

The Peacock on the Pin is such a good amazing retreat, it’s relaxing, gorgeous and really takes you away from everything. Me and my partner had the best time while we were away and enjoyed every second of our stay. The room was lovely, not to mention the hot tub! It’s a gorgeous area and is perfect for a weekend away! Couldn’t recommend it more! ❤️

The hosts were lovely people but the place is right on a edge of golf course and every morning half 6-7 the golf club cutting the grass and it’s very noisey and also there’s a dog barking in a morning so won’t get a lay in. The place is smaller than looks on photos and sink in bathroom a waste of time as tiny and can’t wash in it properly. Members of golf club constantly walking past where hot tub is although it is fenced off but not very peaceful. The converted garage is nicely done overall but not very big.
