The hot tub and sauna are popular features, contributing to a relaxing stay. While there are some concerns about cleanliness and maintenance, these do not detract significantly from the overall positive experience.

Most guests found the lodge to be clean and fresh, with only a few mentioning issues with dust and cobwebs. These instances seem to be exceptions rather than the norm, hence the high score.

It’s the second time we arrive at this place, so if the weather is good you will enjoy spending time here. Sauna is good only if it’s not windy, our kids soaked in a hot tub every morning and during a day

We stayed in Sycamore log cabin this time. Upon our arrival we were greeted by very friendly and welcoming staff who quickly showed us to our log cabin. It was warm and ready for us with a lovely welcome pack. Settees were very comfy as was the bed. Hot tub was up to temperature and very clean and we made use of the outdoor sauna too. This log cabin would benefit from a deep clean due to dust build up on the logs (higher up the walls and behind furniture) also the windows were filthy, however, this would not stop us returning and have booked to come back in September for a week. Onsite food is delicious and pool is a lovely touch. Overall a lovely relaxing stay with amazing staff. Thank you for having us.
