Snaptrip says

Oak Lodge at Bridge Lake Farm & Fishery is highly praised for its peaceful and relaxing setting, with a beautiful lake and scenery. Guests appreciate the cleanliness, modern amenities, and the hot tub. The host, Brendan, is frequently mentioned for his helpfulness. While some guests noted issues with privacy and maintenance, these were exceptions in a collection of otherwise glowing reviews.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Guests consistently report that the lodge is very clean and well-maintained, with several reviews specifically complimenting the cleanliness of both the lodge and the hot tub.

The tranquil and beautiful lakeside setting is frequently highlighted, contributing to a peaceful atmosphere. However, a few guests mentioned the lack of nearby shops as a minor inconvenience.

The lodge is described as cosy, with underfloor heating and comfortable beds. Some guests felt the space was a bit cramped, but overall the comfort level is rated highly.

Facilities like the hot tub and fire pit are well-received, but there are comments about the need for better soundproofing and more privacy. Maintenance of the hot tub by the host was sometimes seen as intrusive.

While guests mention Brendan's helpfulness and the provision of logs for the hot tub, there are no specific references to gifts. Therefore, it cannot be determined if thoughtfulness in the form of gifts is a consistent practice, and the score is set to null.

I have already recommended to people we had an amazing time. If I could criticise anything it would be having to buy additional logs to keep the hot tub useable. The reason for booking this venue was because of the hot tub as well as other things and the cost to stay in these type of venues is because of the hot tub so we felt that we couldn’t use the tub when we wanted because we had to heat it first. We feel that the logs should be provided as part of the stay and there shouldn’t be a charge to be able to use it. It was still lovely and relaxing nonetheless! Next time we may book the tunnel as that looks fantastic !

The site is beautiful, immaculately kept and well equipped. The kitchen area has everything you need to make proper meals, full range of utensils, pots and pans and the oven with microwave was ideal. Underfloor heating means no cold nights and mornings like other lodges, high quality mattresses, linens, towels and robes made our stay very comfortable. The wood fired hot tub was lovely and water quality was well maintained by the owner. The lake and surroundings are very peaceful and secure. We will definitely be booking a return visit.
