Crick is a small community located six miles east of Rugby in the gently sloping countryside of Northamptonshire, not far from the county borders of neighbouring Warwickshire and Leicestershire. Crick is thought to have been named after the Celtic word for hill, and Cracks Hill is just one of several great hikes in the area. The community sits on the bank of the Grand Union Canal, and the canal marina, which has 270 narrowboat berths, hosts the annual Crick Boat Show and Waterways Festival each May. The village has a garden centre, three bars, a garden shop, and a restaurant on the canal called The Moorings. Six miles away, in the historic market town of Rugby, you'll find a wide variety of restaurants, bars, and shops.
