It is also quirky but considering its age and all the add-ons over the centuries this is not surprising! We were amazed to be told about the Priest's Hole in the house, an exciting historic find. The turkey, beef, pheasant and ham cooked on the Aga was very tasty, perhaps more so than conventional oven? Tricky initially but once we read the instructions it was easy to use. I needed instructions for the washing machine which was provided instantly. Any queries actually, were dealt with immediately. The party barn was an added bonus.

! Party barn is amazing. House was fully stocked with everything you need to have a really great time! I would highly recommend booking!

  • Ruth

There was plenty of space for everyone with 2 lounges, a little study where some of us did a puzzle, and the party barn was very popular with the younger members of the family and those adults who wanted to watch the rugby on the large TV. However we were not impressed with the directions to the house (provided not by the owner but by Sykes we understand).
