There are lots of walking trails from the village that will take you out into the serene surrounding countryside with some lovely pubs to enjoy along the way. Visit Badby Woods (3.5 miles) and enjoy the 47.2 acre woodland that is owned by the Fawsley Estate. Explore the nearby ruins of Canons Ashby House (3 miles), a magnificent Elizabethan Manor House that is looked after by the National Trust. For motor racing enthusiasts, the Silverstone circuit is 12 miles away. Learn about the history of the sport at the museum or enjoy one of the Silverstone driving experiences. Stop off in the historic market town of Towcester (9.5 miles) and enjoy some horse racing or spend some time looking for hidden gems in the antiques shops. After a busy day exploring the area, make your way up a set of stairs to the property, which is on the first floor of the converted barn.
