About this property

Resting near Wragby in the Lincolnshire countryside close to the Lincolnshire Wolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is The Stable at Warren House. This idyllic barn conversion has been thoughtfully renovated blending contemporary appliances with the Grade II listed building’s characterful features such as exposed beams, repurposed wooden windowsills and sloped ceilings, the perfect setting for an escape to the countryside. A warm, rustic open-plan living space greets you; unwind on the plush sofa in front of the Smart TV while the chef of the group gets acquainted with the fully-equipped kitchen. Tuck into a delicious meal at the dining table before stepping out onto the private patio to toast your getaway with a glass of fizz as the sun sets over the countryside that encompasses the barn. When the sky darkens, wash off the day’s adventures in the ground-floor bathroom before climbing the stairs to get some much-needed rest in the king-size or twin bedroom. Delight in a tranquil countryside retreat at The Stable at Warren House. Note: This property can be booked with Ref: 1103229, together sleeping up to six guests.

A short distance from the city of Lincoln itself, Wragby is a little town surrounded by rural Lincolnshire. The ruins of two 19th-century manors, the 19th-century All Saints church, which is placed on the Grade II Register, and a tall tower mill that was constructed in 1831 by the millwright Ingledew lie nearby.  With a regular bus service connecting it to Horncastle and the seaside town of Skegness, Wragby provides three welcoming neighbourhood pubs, a fish market, a café, and a restaurant. Explore the several defined trails at the nearby Chambers Farm Wood in the Bardney Limewoods National Nature Reserve and visit the butterfly garden there. Discover the beauty of the east coast at the coastal towns of Skegness and Sutton-on-Sea, or travel to Lincoln and marvel at its magnificent cathedral or browse the city's many unique shops. A fantastic starting point for exploring Lincolnshire all year round. Archbishop Stephen Langton, who played a key role in the signing of the Magna Carta, was born in Langton by Wragby.

The accommodation is lovely - beautifully finished, homely, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The area is so peaceful and relaxing. Eva was a pleasure to deal with and very kindly provided a travel cot, baby bath and change mat for our young children which was an enormous help. Panton is perfectly placed for exploring Lincolnshire - you’re very close for Lincoln, the Wolds and the coast. We enjoyed days out at the beach at Anderby Creek, Chapel St Leonards, Rand Farm (absolutely great for kids) and Tattershall Castle. We also enjoyed looking around Lincoln, Louth, Woodhall Spa and Horncastle. Thanks again for a brilliant week, I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending the accommodation to anyone visiting Lincolnshire.

We really enjoyed our little family escape to The Stable and we would definitely return in the future. Thank you!

Underfloor heating was an absolute dream in what was a very cold weekend. The area around the Stable was beautiful English countryside with fabulous natural hedgerows.
