Nearby is Tydd St Giles Country and Golf Club where day passes can be purchased to enjoy the club house with restaurant, and golf course (booking is advisable). An hour’s drive away is the Norfolk coastline with soft sandy beaches, traditional seaside attractions, rspb bird and nature reserves, stately homes and gardens, including the Royal residence, Sandringham Estate, open to the public when the Royals are in non-residence.
Market town of Wisbech and Long Sutton are both 20 minutes’ drive with shops, cafés, restaurants and supermarkets. Peterborough 22 miles, and historic Kings Lynn, 25 miles with its port both having a wealth of shops, including supermarkets, cinema complex, bowling alley and plenty of eateries. Further afield is Ely, Norwich city, both with cathedrals, shops, and plenty of eateries. Supermarkets 8 miles. Beach 29 miles.

what a lovely clean modern lodge it was. The added bonus of front decking with table and chairs added to the perfect evening sitting out. Also there was a bench in the front garden area to lounge on when the sun didnt hit the front porch.I was amazed at the ensuite bath in the double bedroom...fantastic...plus the separate shower toilet area tooa lovely welcome pack awaited us upon arrival and the owner did introduce herself some time later...very friendly and obligingwe will definitely go back and i highly recommend this quiet beautiful spot....scenery is idyllic

Such an amazing little gem of a hideaway. So peaceful and beautiful views. Paula was so lovely and kind and left us a little welcome package including some of her kitchen eggs and homemade jam. Our little Ronnie 🐶 enjoyed the safe and enclosed garden so he could run around and be safe without having to be on his lead. So clean and tidy and everything you could possibly need. We stayed to have a break from work and house renovations and we truly could relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility and be in nature. We will definitely stay here again.
