Formerly the ‘wing’ of Curlew Lodge it has been converted to provide excellent holiday accommodation. For the more energetic there are walks and cycle routes throughout the area as well as a competition standard tennis court within the grounds. Sutton Bridge is close by providing shops, pubs and post office. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.

A beautiful barn in a very peaceful location with a private garden well secure for dogs . The barn has a very well equipped kitchen and everything was spotlessly clean. The upstairs bedrooms are large but for us the beds were a little uncomfortable as my husband is 6’4 and the beds have frames. There is one of the biggest baths I’ve ever seen in one bedroom and a huge shower in the other . We spent the mornings watching the family of deer and the squirrels in the garden . Plenty of places to eat and takeaways a couple of miles away in both directions .

Second stay at this lovely place.We loved it and felt at home right away.Was hoping that they may have changed the furniture and mattresses as they are past their best for comfort really.The springs in the main bedroom mattress can be felt and make a noise when shifting position.The couch really needs replacing as do the chairs, these are very uncomfortable if you want to relax.Aside from that, it's a perfect wildlife haven and sitting just listening to the birds was a pleasure. The muntjac deer visited daily and was easily seen from the large open living space.We had a small issue with the WiFi which was corrected quickly.The house is very warm due to the underfloor heating and kept us toasty through the stay.Plenty of towels, toilet roll and kitchen essentials however, some kitchen cleaner wouldn't go amiss as there's nothing to clean the oven and hob with.All other essentials are provided for your stay.Will probably be returning again next year
