Snaptrip says

Grange Farm Cottage is highly praised for its peaceful setting, homely atmosphere, and suitability for dogs. Guests appreciate the well-equipped space, enclosed garden, and thoughtful touches like welcome gifts. While some mention slow WiFi and a desire for better mattresses or sofas, the overall sentiment is one of satisfaction and a desire to return.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The cottage is generally described as clean and tidy, with only a few mentions of dog hairs. The positive remarks about cleanliness suggest a high standard, although the isolated comments about dog hairs prevent a perfect score.

The location is frequently lauded for its tranquillity and proximity to nature, with easy access to walks and local attractions. The rural setting is ideal for a quiet getaway, contributing to a high score.

Comfort is well-regarded, with mentions of cosy rooms and comfortable beds. However, some guests suggest improvements in mattresses and sofa comfort, slightly lowering the score.

Facilities are generally appreciated, especially for being dog-friendly and well-equipped. Criticisms include slow WiFi and a desire for better lighting in the garden, indicating room for improvement.

Guests often mention the thoughtfulness of the hosts, including welcome gifts and provisions. While these gestures are highly valued, it is noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and not guaranteed.

It was so quiet (just what we needed) and the cottage had everything we needed and more. The welcome pack which was left for us and the dogs was lovely. Everything was as detailed on the website. The enclosed garden was perfect for the dogs. Thank you for a lovely break.

Its rustic charm and thoughtful touches made it feel like home. The shower isn’t great and the bathroom gets chilly but other than that, perfect. We booked a second stay the day we got back! So pleased we found it.

Peaceful, clean and well equipped. Excellent place to stay for birdwatching round The Wash.
